Age Calculator

DOB (Date of Birth): The date on which a person was born.

Chronological Age: The amount of time that has passed since birth.

Leap Year: A year with 366 days (February has 29 days), occurring every 4 years.

Calendar Year: A 365-day period (or 366 in leap years) from January 1 to December 31.

Age calculation process:

1. Years: Current year - Birth year (adjusted if birthday hasn't occurred yet this year)
2. Months: Calculate remaining months after full years
3. Days: Calculate remaining days after full months
4. Total Days: Sum of all days lived, accounting for leap years
5. Weeks/Hours/Minutes: Convert total days to other time units

Example: Born January 15, 1990, calculating on March 20, 2024:
• Years: 2024 - 1990 = 34 years
• Months: 3 - 1 = 2 months
• Days: 20 - 15 = 5 days
• Result: 34 years, 2 months, 5 days old

Note: Leap years are automatically accounted for in the calculation. The calculator uses the Gregorian calendar system standard in the United States.
